Downloads for the 2016 Thornbury Short Film Competition
The 2016 competition has now closed.
A decision will be made in the autumn 2017 whether a similar competition will held in the spring of 2018.
To enter, the individual acting as the team leader (the primary contact) must first register an interest in the competition by downloading a Registration Form (available from 15th February 2016) and sending the completed form by post to:
Thornbury Short Films, c/o Hazleton, Crossways Lane, Thornbury, South Glos, BS35 3UE or alternately emailing the completed form as an attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by submitting the online version of the Registration Form.
The date by which you must have registered your intention to submit a short film is 13 May 2016
We will send you an USB memory stick on which to submit your completed entry on receipt of your form.
You must read carefully a copy of the Competition detailed Rules and Regulations, your entry will be ineligible if any of the conditions are not met.
You must download a copy of the Release Form, a copy of which must be signed by every member of your contributing crew and the actors. It is the responsibility of the person submitting the film to obtain all the relevant permissions prior to its submission
The films will be judged on Storytelling, Creativity, Screenplay and Actors performances, Technical execution and Overall impression and must be up to 8mins long including titles.
When the film is fully completed, return it by the closing date of midnight on 31 May 2016 to the Competition address above on the memory stick provided or hand it in to Thornbury Town Council, Old Police Station, 58 High Street, Thornbury, BS35 2AR, before 5.00pm. on 31 May.
